/chertogi maps a Gregorian birth month and day onto a 16-hall circle. The engine is lib/slavic-chertogi. SSOT is lib/slavic-chertogi/halls.json (schema_version, source: "Inglings Svarozhy Krug table", boundary_rule: "later_hall_owns_shared_day").
This is a cultural-mythic seasonal identity, not a historical or scientific claim. Pack ethics copy must keep that label.
Shared start day belongs to the later hall (startMd of that hall). calculateChertog sets boundary: true and records neighbors. It throws if no hall contains the day. There is no silent fallback to halls[0].
