# Destiny Matrix

`/destiny-matrix` renders the pack engine `lib/destiny-matrix`. Input is **birth date only**. Time and place are irrelevant here (unlike Human Design). Truth lens: `metaphysics-destiny-matrix-specialist` with `code_path` `ring-presets/evolvement/web/lib/destiny-matrix/index.ts` and tests in `lib/destiny-matrix/__tests__/destiny-matrix.test.ts`.

## Formula scope this cycle

The engine computes **corners plus center**:

| Position id | Source |
|-------------|--------|
| `day` | Birth day reduced to arcana 1-22 |
| `month` | Birth month reduced to arcana 1-22 |
| `year` | Birth year reduced to arcana 1-22 |
| `sum` | Sum of the three corners, reduced |
| `center` | Derived from the corners (not Pythagorean Life Path) |

`positions[]` is `{ id, value, label, plus, minus, nameKey, plusKey, minusKey }` so future Ladini lines can append without breaking consumers. **No extra positions shipped this cycle.** Love line, money line, and karmic tail remain out of scope until an approved formula source exists.

Reduction: values above 22 sum digits until 1-22. **`reduceToArcana(0) = 22`**. Twenty-two is kept as The Fool, not collapsed to 4.

## Labels and copy

English fallback `ARCANA_LABELS[10]` is **The Wheel**. Product copy must not say fortune or luck. Plus/minus are awareness spectrum keys (`meanings.arcana.{n}.plus|minus`), not moral scores. Pack page position captions use `chart.positions.*` (Day / Month / Year / Sum / Center), not hardcoded English. The teaching SVG is a compound octagram: eight vertices plus center (nine places); only the five engine values are numbered this cycle.

Council maps the **center** through `arcanaFamily`. Confidence `destinyMatrixReady` is `0.8`. Arcana 10 family is `change` ("The Wheel as turning conditions").

## What this page is not

- It is not Life Path. The numbers may rhyme. They are different reductions. The page and the council keep the system id `destiny_matrix`.
- It is not Destiny Dating (`n9life.destinyDating.enabled` is false).
